Description

My father bought this car, after I managed to get it for an "ok" price. There where a lot of things to fix on it, we got the PVR-6 swapped for a B230FT we picked up in Sweden. Also a lot of cosmetics has been fixed, as lights, etc. We got help from Stein Ove VikebÝ again, www.vikeboe.com  to swap the engine and some other parts which we found out where damaged.

This car originally came from what was called Czechoslovakia, it was owned by a casino and we actually found bullets in the trunk !

The car is approved after the engine swap by the authorities.

Specification

B230FT rebuilt engine, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, vx3 cam, Turbo xs dumpvalve.

ASA Racing GT Black 17" rims, et43 + 20mm spacers, with 215/45-17 tires.

Super DTM 18x8,5, et13 rims, 225/35-18 tires (belong to my 242 actually, but they sometimes use them on the 780).

I think 180-190 HP is a safe guess @ 0.6-0.7bar, as we got 145HP on the dyno @ 0.3 bar.

The transmission is the standard AW71 automatic Since this is an 88 model, there is the new model A/C panel and there is IRS (independent rear suspension). This also means it uses Nivomats (self levelling shocks).

Only one muffler in addition to the catalyst (Simmoms sports exhaust muffler). The tailpipe is custom tailored by an exhaust shop, so it's not visible from the rear of the car.

The rear bumper of the car is custom made buy another previous owner, it's made up of 3 different Volvo bumpers.
